Here's what I learned.
I'm Skander. I've spent the last 15 years building and operating companies — a retail chain, two SaaS startups, a marketplace — and now I help founders do the same thing faster and with fewer expensive lessons.
My background is unusual: I started in operations and IT, moved into product and engineering, then ran sales and go-to-market. That breadth is the point. Revenue problems are almost never just a sales problem or just a product problem. They're a systems problem. And you need someone who can see all of it.
Currently, I'm building the commercial engine at MarketKit, an AI-powered revenue analytics SaaS. Consulting engagements run in parallel — I take a small number each quarter.
How I think
Systems over heroics
A company that depends on one person doing extraordinary things is not a company — it's a bet. I build systems so the ordinary run of things produces extraordinary results.
Revenue is a consequence
Revenue is what happens when your operations, product, and go-to-market are properly connected. Fix the connection first. The revenue follows.
I stay in until it runs without me
Consulting that produces a deck is not consulting. I stay engaged until the system is running, the team owns it, and I'm genuinely not needed anymore.
